4. Payment Processing
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors integrated with our platform (such as Stripe or PayPal). We do not store, transmit, or have access to full credit card numbers or sensitive financial account information on our servers. All payment data is handled in accordance with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements by our payment processors.
All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD). Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, which are outside our control and are addressed in our Terms of Service.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances.
5.1 Service Providers
Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform and delivering our Services. These include, without limitation:
- Kajabi — website, course delivery, membership, and email platform hosting
- FlexiQuiz — delivery, administration, and scoring of quizzes, practice question banks, and mock examinations, which may involve transmission of your name, email address, and assessment responses and results
- Payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) — payment and subscription processing
- Email marketing and communication platforms — delivery of transactional and marketing messages
- Analytics and advertising providers — as described in Section 6
- Fulfillment and shipping providers — where merchandise, badges, or prizes are awarded
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
5.2 Accrediting and Credentialing Organizations
Where you request or are awarded continuing education credit, we may be required to report your name, email address, professional credential or registry number (such as an ARRT registration number), activity completed, and completion date to the applicable accrediting organization, including the Association for Vascular and Interventional Radiography (AVIR), the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), or a successor or equivalent body. This reporting is a condition of awarding accredited credit. If you do not wish this information to be shared, do not request continuing education credit.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any credentialing or accrediting body except as expressly stated. Please see Section 4 of our Terms of Service.
5.3 Institutional, Department & Group Purchasers
Where your access is purchased, sponsored, or paid for by an employer, hospital, facility, department, school, or other organization, that organization may receive reports regarding seat assignment, enrollment status, course and module completion, and continuing education credit earned by the individuals holding the seats it has purchased. The scope of any such reporting is governed by the separate written agreement between Scrubbed and Wired, LLC and that organization.
If your access was provided to you by an employer or institution, you should assume that your completion and credit records may be visible to that organization, and you should review that organization's own policies regarding employee data.
5.4 Legal Compliance
When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our Terms of Service, investigate suspected fraud or unauthorized access, or protect your safety or the safety of others.
5.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change via a prominent notice on our website or by email.
6. Advertising, Analytics & Social Media Platforms
We may use analytics services and advertising technologies provided by third parties, including social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to understand how our Services are used, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and to deliver advertising to individuals who may be interested in our Services.
These technologies may include pixels, tags, SDKs, conversion tracking, custom or lookalike audience tools, and lead generation forms hosted on the third-party platform. Through them, certain information — such as your device identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, actions taken on our site, or a hashed version of your email address — may be collected by or shared with those platforms.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, this activity may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though we do not sell personal information for money. California residents have the right to opt out of such sharing. See Section 11.2.
Your choices. You may limit this activity by:
- Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies
- Enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out preference signal in your browser, which we will honor as a valid opt-out request where required by law
- Adjusting your ad and privacy settings directly with the applicable platform
- Emailing us at [email protected] to request that we cease sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
Participation in any community, group, or social media program we operate — including on third-party platforms — is voluntary. Information you post publicly in such a group is governed by that platform's privacy policy, not this one, and may be visible to other participants and to the platform operator.
7. Account Security & Usage Monitoring
Our Terms of Service permit only individual use of an account and prohibit credential sharing. To enforce these terms and protect our content, we monitor and analyze account and usage data — including IP addresses, device and browser information, login timestamps, geographic patterns, and concurrent session activity — to detect indicators of shared credentials, unauthorized access, or other misuse.
Where such indicators are identified, we may suspend or terminate access in accordance with our Terms of Service, and no refund will be issued in those circumstances. We may retain records of such investigations as necessary to enforce our rights.
8. Data Security and Breach Notification
We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include access controls, credential management practices, and use of vendors who maintain their own security programs.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA) Notice. In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, Scrubbed and Wired, LLC will notify affected individuals as required by Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 501.171), which requires notification without unreasonable delay and no later than thirty (30) days after determination that a breach has occurred. Notification will be provided via email to the address associated with your account, or by substitute notice as permitted by law. Where a breach affects five hundred (500) or more Florida residents, we will also notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs within the timeframe required by that statute. We will provide any additional notification required under the laws of other states in which affected individuals reside.
9. Data Retention
